Japanese cuisine prepared with fresh natural delicacies from the mountains and the sea, together with the chef’s passion

The southern part of Nagano Prefecture in Japan, where we are located,
is surrounded by mountains, but is also close to the sea,
so we are able to acquire fresh, seasonal ingredients from the mountains and the sea.
We offer Shinshu Kaiseki cuisine on a monthly rotating basis.
If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Breakfast・Tanka Meal (also known as: 31 Meal) (reservation required)

Each guest can select between Japanese and Western breakfasts. We will ask you to do so when you are checking in. We are also able to serve you Ishida’s breakfast, ‘Tanka Meal’ (also known as 31 Meal), by prior reservation. Due to ingredient availability, we are unable to accept same-day reservations for this meal. Furthermore, please note that we can only serve this meal for all guests in a party, instead of only for a number of guests.

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Sekitaitei Ishida. Before I realized it, it has been more than 30 years since I started preparing food at Ishida. Minami-Shinshu is surrounded by mountains, but it is also close to the sea, and it is a region from which we can obtain plenty of fresh ingredients. As the seasons change, we will continue to develop menus that will bring delicacies from each season to our guests. We look forward to welcoming you to Sekitaitei Ishida.
